Stormy, my second cavalier, my first wild child, and my first lesson on having to be careful what you name a dog. Stormy is a great little girl, very solid temperament, outgoing, part bird dog (no kidding, this girl points!!), and wonderful mother. My husband has been begging for quite some time now to let him take her out into the field with him and his GSPs (German Shorthaired Pointers) to do some bird hunting. Not that I don’t trust my husband, I really would hate this little girl to get lost, I just can’t do it. But, she does get to hang out with the GSPs during some of their training and has gone to some field trials. Once during some GSP field training, my husband did let her off lead and she ran faster than the 4 wheeler could go, luckily she came back very proud of her mad dash across the fields.
